First 90 days: lead magnet outline
An outline of a planned free guide for families after a new concern or diagnosis. This is a draft structure, not the finished guide.
Outline only. The sections below are practical prompts, not legal or medical statements. Each will be written, sourced and reviewed before release. The email delivery of the finished guide is not wired.
Days 1–7: Breathe and gather
- Write down what you have noticed, with dates and examples.
- Start one folder (paper or digital) for every report, letter and email.
- Find your state's early intervention or school evaluation starting point on your state page.
Days 8–30: Ask for the right evaluations
- Make evaluation requests in writing and keep a copy.
- Note the dates you send and receive things, then compare with the timelines on your state page.
- Contact your Parent Training and Information Center.
Days 31–60: Understand the results
- Ask for reports before meetings so you can read them first.
- Write your questions and your priorities for your child.
- Ask what supports the school can start now.
Days 61–90: Build the plan
- Check benefits and funding options (Medicaid, waivers, scholarships) from the official sources.
- Line up respite and parent support.
- Set a review date for what is and isn't working.
